Tres Colacion stumbled into advertising by way of nightlife promotion. Since then, he has racked up nearly all of the industry's most coveted awards in a career that spans the globe, from Dubai to London, LA to NYC where he now serves as GCD at Droga5.
Tres joined us via zoom before jetting off for his commercial assignment in the ranks of BBDO before his Droga move. We talk about why he likes a team with a diverse educational background, why he doesn't use much copy (if any) in many of his ads, and why when you go to his portfolio as a recruiter, it tells you to look elsewhere first.
